We booked a 2 days, 1 night package to North Sikkim through Sikkim Tours and Travels, and the whole experience was flawless from start to finish. Mr. Manoj, the owner, was incredibly supportive throughout the process. We opted for a shared taxi, and our driver Mr. Mani, was not only a great guide but also had an amazing spirit! He shared interesting tidbits about local customs, like the significance of prayer flags, and details about our journey, including how many mountains we’d cross. Despite the 9-hour trip, he was very understanding and made several stops as some kids in the taxi felt sick. Our accommodation was cozy, with delicious home-cooked local food and a breathtaking view from our window. Overall, it was a perfect 10/10 experience.
